Ryan Collin

Ryan is one of Open Trustees’ Scheme Managers and a fully accredited professional pension trustee by the Association of Professional Pension Trustees. Ryan is responsible for managing some of Open Trustees’ larger or more complex appointments. In particular, Ryan  manages schemes that have entered PPF assessment. Ryan is currently assisting the Directors in carrying out the PPF assessment period tasks for the Old British Steel Pension Scheme.

Ryan joined Friends Provident whilst studying at university and continued after graduation working as a portfolio administrator. He later worked in similar roles for Aon Consulting and Jardine Lloyd Thompson before moving to Open Trustees in October 2014.

Ryan is a student member of the Pensions Management Institute and is currently working towards the Advanced Diploma in Retirement Provision. Ryan has previously acted as a volunteer adviser for the Pensions Ombudsman Early Resolution Team advising members that are currently in dispute with regards to their pension rights.
